PSYCHOPUNCH Signs With SPV/STEAMHAMMER

August 28, 2012

Swedish rockers PSYCHOPUNCH have inked a worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer. The band's new album will be released in early 2013.

Commented Georg Schröder, A&R at SPV/Steamhammer: "I know PSYCHOPUNCH since they started their career on the now-legendary Swedish White Jazz label — back in the day home of bands like GLUECIFER, HELLACOPTERS and many others — and these guys still out there playing rock 'n' roll as it should be. Straight guitars, great hooks — this is the perfect soundtrack for the next rock 'n' roll party. We’re very proud to have this band on board now and can’t wait to release studio album number 10!"

Added PSYCHOPUNCH's JM: "We are really happy to have finally signed the deal with SPV and are are looking forward to our collaboration with them on the release of our next studio album. After releasing records on both legendary label White Jazz Records and Silverdust Records, we felt that this was a great and natural step for us to take. We have great expectations on SPV and I’m sure they have that on us and we will do our best not to disappoint anyone! Think that some of the best stuff we ever recorded will be found on the new album!"

PSYCHOPUNCH is:

JM: Lead Vocals, Guitar
Joey: Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
Jocke: Drums
Lindell: Bass, Backing Vocals
